Late applications for September 2026

While the regular application deadline of 1 February 2026 has passed, we are now accepting late applications for students who wish to start at AUC in September 2026.

  • Eligibility criteria for late applications

The late deadline at AUC has some additional conditions, including:

    • You are applying as a Sciences, Social Sciences or Humanities major
    • You are a national of an EU/EEA country (and hold a passport from that country)
    • You have not previously applied to start at AUC in September 2026 for the early-bird or regular application deadlines
  • Apply by 1 May

Application form open from 1 March to 1 May 2026
The late application form is open via the online platform Embark until 1 May 2026. Please note that all late applicants will need to submit their application before 1 May 2026, 23:59 (Central European Summer Time, CEST) to be considered for a September 2026 start.

All recommendations must be received by 8 May 2026
Ideally, all recommendations should also be received before 1 May 2026, but recommenders will have until 8 May 2026 (23:59, CEST) at the latest to submit their recommendations for late applicants. If recommendations are not received by this date, the application will be considered incomplete.

  • Decision on admission in first week of June

After the late application deadline has passed, our Admissions Office will begin the review process, and you can expect to hear a decision on admission in the first full week of June (1-5 June 2026).

Review the application guidelines

The application guidelines explain what each portion of the application requires, including the necessary documents and deadlines. They provide detailed instructions on how to complete the application correctly and outline any specific formats for submission requirements. You should review the application guidelines prior to completing your application to avoid mistakes and ensure all information is included.

NB: If you want to apply for an exchange or study abroad period at AUC, different procedures apply and you should contact the Study Abroad Office at your home institution. Please do not use our online application form, as this is only for applicants for the full three-year AUC degree programme. You can also view the information for exchange students.
